How much do you tip your letter carrier

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Never over $20, as they aren't supposed to accept more than that. In the past I have given lottery tickets or a gift bag full of homemade goodies like cookies and jelly. The rules with tipping carriers are very strict (if followed) and can make this one tricky.

Usually around $50 unless you run a small business out of your house or something where you receive a lot of mail!

if you have been at the same address and had the same carrier all year, and you have not had any problems like i have, (i've had 3 different carriers in the 6 months i have been at me address), then i would tip the max of 20$ that a carrier is allowed to except and maybe throw in a box of chocolates too!
