How much do you think about sex? Is it bad to think about it periodically throughout the day? Why or why not?

According to the ABC data 70% of men think about sex everyday.
I'm actually closer to the myth of "Guys think about sex every seven seconds". I do no think about it that often but the thought crosses my mind more than once a day .. everyday.
This ABC News article is more like it. The article compares a couples thoughts on sex during a typical day and the man reported that he thought about sex 30+ times during the day and the woman thought about sex twice.
This man seems more like me and I don't think it's bad or unhealthy at all.
Maybe the sex I get at home is just too good not to dream about

M$I don't think it's bad. Sexual release itself is healthy by itself and the act of which releases chemicals in the brain on par to pain killers. It's no surprise this feeling would be thought about and sought after by both sexes.
(The source is actually about orgasms for headaches but I cover the chemicals released in the brain during one as well.)

@unwirklich I would tend to believe you on that. You say it all with the "women are less likely to admit they think about sex often" statement.
As a woman, and one who has friends who aren't afraid to talk about their sexuality I don't think those statistics are accurate. More to say women are less likely to admit they think about sex often.
