How much do catholic Priests make?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The range of salaries of a priest depends upon the Bishop of the diocese, $20,883. in a small parish; $26,633. in a large parish, (over 1000 communicants.)

Correct too that it comes at a price.
The job is 24 / 7, and very demanding both physically and emotionally.
And... they're given quite a bit. Cars to use, food, trips, houses, etc. But it all comes with a price...
There may be a car stipend, but I believe that car expense is on the priest (which is why you see them driving cars that range from brand new Mercedes to 1980s Ford Escorts!). You are correct though to point out the other benefits, and don't forget utilities and health care.
Another small benefit is related to gifts from the parishioners; food, cash and other items are routinely gifted at holidays and special occasions.
