The Playstation 2 is much better than the Playstation. I think that the Playstation games are a bit old school and the games graphics are pretty poor. Go with the Playstation 2 because you can play both Playstation games as well as Playstation 2 games.
So the Playstation 2 is far superior for that reason alone. Better graphics and you can play both games PS1 and PS2 games.
