How much are you willing to pay for your Halloween Jack-O-Lantern this year?

With a pumpkin shortage this year and prices already soaring will you still invest in pumpkins for decoration this Halloween?
How much will you pay? and how far will you travel to find them?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I wouldn't BAT an eye to pay more than $5 for a good sized pumpkin! WITCH place to shop? Try Walmart ($4.95) or the local farmer's market for HAUNTINGLY great prices. They won't SPOOK your budget.

There is a pumpkin shortage? Not here in PA. All the local orchards are ready for Halloween with pumpkins a plenty not to mention the grocery stores. I plan to spend about $6 for our pumpkins this year. $3 for each kid to choose his own pumpkin of any size at our local orchard. We will make jack-o-lanterns ourselves at home!

LOL @ the above - very original! Well, considering that Halloween only comes once a year, and that it's a GREAT holiday, I wouldn't mind spending up to 20 bucks on a HUGE pumpkin. I love the scaries! :)
