How many times in a day does the average person fart?
This question came up because I have a different sleep schedule than my roommates. When they fall asleep in the living room where I play video games they fart all through their sleep.
Most people pretend they fart less than they really do. So what is the average and what is the healthy median? The median that you can compare to and judge your physical health based on how often you should be disposing of gasses.
I should probably offer tips. There is so much more. Like, why do we need to expel gasses? And many other questions. Maybe I will save them for later.

Why do we expel gases? Farting is actually caused by an enzyme breakdown in your intestines. When you eat certain foods(and yes, beans are one of them), enzymes in the food enter the intestine where they interact with bacteria that lives there. This causes a reaction in the enzymes which creates methane. The methane gas then has to find a way out and your rear end is the closest..
