How many T Rex have been found in China?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

A little bit more than 20 Tyrannosaurus rex specimens have been found so far in the world, but from those only three complete skulls. There have been just one discovery in China so far; it was in 2005 and not precisely a full grown T-Rex as we know it, but a predecessor, a miniature T-Rex ancestor now named Raptorex kriegsteini. A dinosaur with almost identical features but on a man-sized scale.

It came from the famous feathered dinosaur bed from northeastern China and lived 130 million years ago, almost 70 million years before T-Rex, it measured 2.7 meters from nose to tail, weighed as much as a man, some 60 kg, the skeleton resembles the larger Tyrannosaurs in every respect except its size. It shared the same powerful jaws, small arms and quick legs of the much larger and more famous descendant, the Tyrannosaurs rex.

According to "www.guardian.co.uk" on T-Rex and Raptorex similarities:

---Quote---
Many of the most striking features of the beast, such as its puny forearms, were thought to be a trade-off during the evolution of its enormous size, but Raptorex shows these features had already evolved more than 60m years earlier.

Was the T Rex hatched from eggs? Have researchers found fossiled eggs in China?
