There are 10 systems that are found in the human body.
These are:
1. Skeletal System - serves as the framework of the body. Its function includes support the muscles and serves as attachment, protects vital organs, storage of nutrients, inorganic salt and serves as factory of blood cells.
2. Digestive System- this system helps to simplify food to be absorbed by the body
3. Muscular System - this system comprises of the muscles that support and maintain posture, produce body heat
4. Lymphatic System - this system comprises of lymph, lymphocytes, lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes, tonsils, the spleen and thymus gland.
5. Endocrine System - this system comprises a group of specialized organs and body tissues that produce, store and secrete chemical substances known as hormones.
6. Nervous System - this system comprises the nerves, brain, and spinal cord.
7. Cardiovascular System - this system is composed of the heart as the main pumping organ, blood vessels, and blood components.
8.Reproductive System - this system comprises of the male/female reproductive organs like the testis and ovaries
9. Urinary System - the main organ of this system is the kidneys, urinary bladder, ureter, urethra.
