There are a total of 5 extra costumes to unlock in God of War. The different costumes available are:
1. Chef of War – Kratos is decked out as a chef with a pair of frying pans as his weapons.
2. Bubbles – This secret costume has Kratos sporting swimming shorts and some scuba gear. Scuba flippers act as his main weapon with this unlockable.
3. Tycoonius – Kratos dresses up in a business suit and uses a pair of giant suitcases to battle his enemies.
4. Dairy Bastard – A dairy cow costume replaces Kratos standard garb, complete with jugs of milk as his main weapon.
5. Ares Armor – The most serious costume out of the bunch has Kratos wearing the same armor used by the God of War himself, Ares.
These costumes not only change how you look, but also affect the amount of damage you can do and take, as well as the amount of orbs you can collect throughout the game. The costumes can be obtained by completing the Challenge of the Gods, an extra mode that consists of a series of tests to beat. It becomes available after completing the game for the first time.
