The movie "The Kids are Alright" got four Oscar nominations. It is nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress nomination for Annette Bening, Best Supporting Actor for Mark Ruffalo, and running for Best Original Screenplay.
The movie is about a lesbian couple Nic and Jules played by Annette Bening and Julianne Moore respectively. They have two children Joni and Laser who are half-sibling through unknown sperm donor played by Ruffalo. He came into their lives and changing the life of their family.
The movie was said to cost an estimated $4 million to make but it already grossed nearly $21million by October 2010.
These are the list of four major categories it was nominated for:
