How many more generations do think will be able to live on our planet if we don't start taking care of it?

As I open my eyes I wonder how long we will be able to exist here.
Tip for best answer: M$0.80

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

if you are a religious person you will find out that in the bible it states the revelations of this worlds Armageddon, i mixed with other geographic sources i started to realise an ancient source which happened to state that this world will endeavour in a world pandemic which will thereafter move on to the civil war of humans in other words world war, everyone fighting for resources this is the true meaning of Armageddon and it has already started believe it or not try think of a pandemic that is affecting world wide country's all around the world today (swine flu) along with economic crisis this will soon be revealed in the layout of a war so how long they will prolong it only god knows this is my answer to you :)
but apart from the populations rapidly reducing for decades to come i do believe in the human race to prevail and it will always have our species on this universe

Someone wrote me that they really beleive that the rich people will survive to me no amount of money can save people from their own destruction let alone mother nature's and god's fury to clean up his planet. If you are researching this you wouldn't believe what some people think.

There is no question there will be more generations. We are far to successful and tenacious as a species to ever go extinct. The richest few of us will always be able to survive using advanced, expensive technology, even on the moon if necessary.

The question is, how many of us will be around in a hundred years? With current estimates of 7 billion by 2011 and other dire environmental predictions, it does seem possible that maybe there will "only" be a couple of billion of us left after climate disasters and other catastrophes cull the herd.

I agree if anyone does survive it will be the richest. But can money really save us fom natural deasters? It is a scary outlook on our planet's future and the survival of people when you look at what is going on now.

There will be more generations to come. Not only that, the direction we are headed, we are slowly moving towards a green planet. It will take a while, but it will get done.

I surely hope so I fear for the generations to come when I see some of the stuff we are doing to our planet. People need to think sometimes before they take certain actions just starting at the bottom littering, polluting the bodies of water, taking away our trees and so on.
