There are 4 tiers of trophies, bronze (10 trophies), silver (4 trophies), gold (5 trophies) and 'secret' story related which include 6 additional silver and 10 additional bronze.. There are 35 trophies all together.

Still, it may be advisable to do it in two session: once on 'easy', and once on 'hard'. By playing 'easy', you can unlock most of the trophies, kill enemies to gain the 'kill x enemies' trophies, find the godly posessions and secret locations, gorgon eyes and feathers. The second play-through, you can concentrate on getting to the end, mopping up any areas you missed out.
In total, there are 36 trophies, 20 gold ones, 10 silver, 5 bronze, and one platinum one. On pstrophies.org, there is a great guide on how to most effectively get to all trophies.
