I had no idea there was such a large field of horse masseuses that there was actually a network of schools! Just goes to show how limited my knowledge of the world is...
Anyway, it's hard to pin down a firm number for you, because there are "colleges", "schools", "classes", and "workshops" all around the world--and it's a growing industry! Many schools participate in distance-learning while others are locally based.
If you count small local workshops and online "classes", then there are hundred based in the U.S. alone. If you are looking for reputable equine massage colleges/schools, the numbers are in the dozens for the U.S., fewer around the world.
