How many distinctive sounds does your cat make?
I've noticed my cat makes different kind of sounds depending on what he wants or how he's feeling. I'm wondering if there has been any studies on this.

I can count 7 sounds that my cat makes. He's a bi-color, black and white cat. He lives indoor/outdoor and he makes sounds from hissing to long meows to yowling. I know that most "cat" books sound ridiculous, but this one actually goes through the many different sounds that cats make and what they are signaling with these sounds.
