How many days a year can you surf in Oahu, Hawaii?
A surfable swell might be characterized as, over 3 feet, and without excessive wind, although a wind against the swell can be good.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Really? I've heard a few days a year at least are not so great, and when I was there in February the wind made the north shore pretty unsurfable.
Okay... you caught me. There ARE a few days that are not so great. And the winter months are VERY cold there... it could get down to the low 70s some days. Most locals have to put on their parkas and start their fireplaces...
