How many credit cards is perfect for my credit score?
Right now I have:
Orchard Bank - 300 limit/0 balance - charging on it monthly, paying it off monthly
Chase - 1500 limit/0 balance - had 499 on it and paid it off right away.
Chevron Gas Card - 300 limit/0 balance
and I just got approved for Lowes - 300 limit
Do you people think it's enough for now? I was thinking wait one more year or 2, charge those cards, pay them off and apply for a nice, good card? What would be the ultimate card to have?

I think what's important is doing what you are continuing to do. Pay off your balances if you can each month and if you can't, make sure to never miss a payment. Over half of the United States population have two or more credit cards. Several expert say you should have one credit card with a zero balance stored in a safe place outside your home in case your walltet gets stolen or house burned down. That enables you to have one to use until you can replace the others.
It's a good idea to use a separate credit card strictly for online purchases. This makes it easier to spot fraudulent activity on your card and could help in the event of identity theft.
Sometimes certain cards are denied, so it's best to make sure you have another card in case this happens.
My favorite card to use is my Discover Card. They have good rates and have great cashback bonus reward programs that run on a three month period basis. Some months you can get 5% back on gasoline. Other months it might be restaurants or hotels, etc.
