Within Medieval art (starting around the year 200) you get categories such as Celtic and Anglo-Saxon art, as well as Gothic art. Renaissance art contains all the Italian Renaissance and Early Netherlandish paintings. Neoclassicism has the Baroque and Rococo periods, and Romanticism is home to the Nazarene Movement and the Dusseldorf School.
Things are a bit blurry between Romanticism to Modern art, and they both straddle the line on the development of things like photography and Realism. Modern art (beginning in the late 19th century) contains Impressionism, Art Nouveau, Futurism and Cubism among many others. There is also quite a bit of overlap between Modern and Contemporary art, but many would count graffiti, photorealism and digital art as belonging to the later.
The most comprehensive list of art periods for every culture across the world in the Heilbrun Timeline of Art History, found on the website of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There is a link to it in the sources below.
