Skinny jeans and straight legs are very different. Skinny is fitted all the way to the ankle. Almost like a second skin. You can tell when you put them on because the leg holes are small. Skinny jeans should be tight, fitted all the way from waist to ankle.
I think the last time we saw anything Skinny was in the 80's. But I don't remember them being quite as skinny as they are now. We definitely were not wearing jeggings. (did i just age myself?)
