Starcraft 2 was announced on "May 19, 2007" - This was intially delayed by a year because of World of Warcraft as the developers were re-assigned to assit there. There has also been a mod called Starcraft 2 for Command and Conquer: Generals - wich was taken down beacuse of copy right issues (hinting of SC2 in mind at around 05-06 ish).
