How long have you been playing your musical instrument?

-what instrument is it?
-and how long have you been playing it?
:)

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I play guitar, bass, and drums.

I've been playing guitar for almost 7 years, bass for 5, and I started playing drums last year.

:)

I started playing on my 14th birthday, so technically I've been playing for just under 7 years. I play a lot of acoustic, hard rock, metal, and I started getting into techno so I like to try and fuse that in with my playing.

I'm glad you enjoy it! I've been known to spend over 12hrs in one sitting playing guitar. I wouldn't recommend that though. At least take a break every once in a while.

I have been playing oboe for five years, clarinet for around three and a half, various orchestral percussion instruments (marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, etc.) for around two years, and about a year ago decided to take up drums (though I'll be the first to admit that I'm not that good). I also played piano from around ten years ago to around five years ago.
