This depends on the type of fracture you have, where in the body it is located, and how severe it was. If it is a simple fracture, it usually takes 4-6 weeks to heal. If it is a more complex fracture including a fracture that required surgical repair, it will take longer. Children tend to heal the fastest, while the elderly take longer.
