Well... Whites usually will keep their flavor for a very long time. They don't go bad like reds.
I'm not an expert, but I think a decent Sauvignon Blanc will stay for a couple months if you cork it and keep it in the refrigerator.

White wines keep a bit longer in the fridge than red wines, but DEFINITELY NOT for a few months. Maybe 2-3 days max! An open Sauvignon Blanc after 2 months will taste flat and lifeless and is better suited in your steamed clams than in your glass!
