As long as they are stored well, I don't think the things would ever go bad.
I keep mine stored in a drawer in my basement so the temp is constant year round.
I used some just last week to mend a rip in a greenhouse cooling tube and they have to be at least 20 years old...maybe older and they worked just fine.
