How long did it take you to receive your iPad off apple.com?
I just ordered an iPad, and was just wondering if anyone recently ordered one off apple.com and if so, did it take the full 8-10 business days for it to ship? Were you satisfied at the time you receive your iPad? or Were you disappointed, that it didn't arrived at the scheduled delivery time-frame? Are there any alternatives to buying iPad with on time delivery?

My son bought my iPad through the Apple.com store. I got the same email that said it would be shipped within 8-10 business days. I then got notice about a week early saying it would get to my house sooner. I received it sooner than the 10 business days and was very happy I got it. They sent a delivery verification number that I could follow my iPad online. That was very interesting. I saw when it left China, went to Anchorage, Alaska, then Indianapolis, Indiana and then to my city in Illinois. Just make sure that someone is at home to sign for it or the Fed Ex person won’t leave the package for you.
My son got his iPad at an Apple store in a mall. He called three malls that are within 3 hours of where we live and put his name on the list. He was called about a week after he put his name on the list. As they got the iPads in, they would call the people on the list. The only trouble is that when they call, you only have 24 hours to pick it up after they call to tell you it is there. It worked out for him though since even though he is a truck driver, his nice mother drove 2 ½ hours to St. Louis, MO to get it for him. I can’t gripe though since he then ordered one for me too.
