The Gorillaz album “The Fall” was recorded over a 32 day stretch while the band was on a North American tour. The album is predominantly a recording of Gorillaz instrumentals (done by band member Damon Albarn) with some occasional vocals from Bobby Womack. The album was released on Christmas Day to members of the Gorillaz fan club. While the Gorillaz are not the only people to have recorded music on the iPad, they are probably some of the most popular bands to do so.
