How is the following number expressed in scientific notation 696,000,000?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Go to Microsoft Excel, put in the number in a cell, right click and choose Format Cells, go to the numbers tab and choose Scientific. You can choose the number of decimal places ( depending on the accuracy you want for it) . It shows up as 6.96E+08 ( The letter E stands for exponential )
