How is Prague? Does it deserve to be visited?

Tip for best answer: M$1.52
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes! You should visit Prague. It is a wonderful cultural and historic city. I have been many times, and always find something new and interesting to visit. The people are very helpful, friendly, and proud of their city. They have wonderful restaurants, and the prices are so resonable. If you have the chance, do visit Prague!

Prague is a amazing old city, offering a lot of interesting architecture and history. It is really worth a visit. And Czech beer is a whole chapter for it self. Except from Belgium, Czech Republic is the best beer country in my opinion. And beer is prized almost cheaper than water in some places i went. Really.
I had a great time there.

But..
I do not intend to step on anybody's feet when I say this, but the hospitality in Praque has a bad reputation where I come from. I had only a few bad experiences down there my self, but many of my friends was very annoyed by it they tell me... But hey, wont a smile save your own day? :)

I stayed at a rather small and very nice hostel called Pragues Heaven, which had only a few rooms - but one of the nicest atmospheres I have ever experienced in a hostel. This is a good and very cheap place to stay.

I can only recommend you to go there!
Reading this post again, before submitting, I now see how I might make me look like I was only there for the beer haha!

Prague is one of Europe's largest and most culturally significant cities. It is the capital city of the Czech Republic with approximately 1,300,000 inhabitants.

Yes, of course, it deserves to be visited. It was admitted into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1992. It is the center of many cultural events, theaters, museums, and galleries, including the world famous Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring the works of world famous Czech composers, Bedrich Smetana, Antonin Dvorak, and many others.
