How is it legal for sites like cellphone-jammers.com to sell these type of devices?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Since laws against cellphone jammers have only been enacted in certain countries (including the U.S., Europe, Canada and Australia), all companies need to do is to be located in a country or region that doesn't have any restrictions on these types of devices.

From a Slate Article:

"But there are countries with less draconian rules. France, for instance, seems to turn a blind eye to the active use of cell-phone jammers in movie theaters, and countries such as China, Russia, and Israel either permit use of these technologies, or are very lax when it comes to enforcing restrictions. "
