The highest peak in the Caucus range is Mount Elbrus which stands 5.641 meters is located in Russia. It is part of the Caucasus Mountain system in Euroasia. This mountain chain is found between the Black and Caspian Sea. It is not geographically clear if the mountain system is located in Asia or Europe as it is situated in the middle of the Euroasian plate.
Next highest peak would be the Mont Blanc, 4,810 m in the Alps near the French-Italian boarder. Apparently, there are more peaks that are higher but nameless. But majority of the climbers would agree Mount Elbrus is the highest peak.
Other peaks are Dykh-Tau, also located in Russia stands 5,205 m, Shkhara in Georgia measures 5,201 meters and Koshtan—Tau, still in Russia towers at 5,152 meters.
