How hard is it to form an online business in Second Life and have it provide financially in real life?

I have just started in Second Life. I have made a virtual nightclub and have Dj's that come and play every night. The crowd is starting to tip me and I am starting to earn some money. I wondered how successful some people have become in real life from the financial ventures they engage in while playing in Second Life or will this flow of Linden money slow down?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Just a note: a SL dollar is equal to 1/2 a cent in actual dollars.
Daniel Terdiman has written a book about how to become a successful entrepreneur in Second Life, and it is recommended if you are just starting out in Second Life.

Anshe Chung has made millions in Second Life creating virtual real estate.
