How fast is the processor in the iPad? Is it faster than the iPhone?

Tip for best answer: M$0.75
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Do you think that this will make a difference when I run applications?

What about the regular 3G iPhone?

Are there any practical examples online that show the speed differences?

Hi rob
The processor is 1GHz on the iPad and this is also the same for the current iPhone 4.0. I have not seen any significant speed difference between the two although the iPhone has more RAM so that might make it appear faster.
