How far is too far in the Twilight series fandom?

With the media gaggling over film stars and their choice of wardrobe and hairstyle and kids running around biting their playmates in imitation of the film casts and also fans showing off their bold twilight tattoos. It really makes me wonder if the twilight fandom is way too far. There is also a report that the twilight religion, known as the ‘’ Cullenism ‘’(coined from the name of Edward Cullenfrom the series) has already taking its ground amongst fans, to the extent that they now have their rules, principles and a book that is supposed to be read as the Bible. Do you think these is just ‘’fan fellowship`` or is there more to it?

I think getting something permanent on your body in commemoration of your fandom is going way too far. It's worse then getting permanent ink of your boyfriend/girlfriend's name on you.

I'm not saying it's bad to represent for something you love, but at least 10 years from now, wont most people be onto something else after Twilight? In half a decade, Twilight pandemonium will die down, because there are no more books, and therefore no more movies or manga to adapt from it.

I don't think anyone should take the step to do something that might have them thinking "What have I done?" later on in life.

If there is a symbol of something Twilight related which relates to your life or something you believe I can understand a tattoo or something major in the way of a purchase. Otherwise permanent markings or large investments based on a movie craze make no sense to me. And the religion thing? Sounds cult like to me and just makes me think of Jim Jones and the Kool aid massacre. I don't think Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) would take that role and wonder how he feels about the issue. Fans are one thing, fans to the degree of worship would seem a bit creepy.
