So, the answer is 9 days at most, but since the Christmas season can get very busy, I'd make sure the package is ready closer to two weeks ahead of time, just to be safe.

M$If you want to mail something via regular mail, the USPS recommends that you send it sooner rather than later, and usually estimate 4-7 days. The USPS's Priority Mail flat rate box at $8.95 regardless of weight is a great value, and this is usually estimated to arrive in 2 days.
Basically, whatever the USPS estimates for normal shipping time on their site, add a couple days. I wouldn't mail anything later than the 18th if you want to be sure it will arrive. If bad weather hits, packages will be delayed.
