Traveling to Africa today is not as expensive as you may think and even an Africa safaris is not out of peoples price ranges like they used to be. Since the success of the World Cup in South Africa, the entire continent has seen a rise in visitors which has thus decreased the prices of visiting Africa significantly.
Africa is just as safe as any other country in the world, every country in the world has both its bad places and its good places to visit.
