I am in possession of both PlayStation Move and Wii.
While playing on my new PlayStation 3's motion I am now aware that how different it is from Wii. At a first glance the PlayStation Move controller will look like it is just another Wii. But you will notice the real difference when you connect the move controller to the PS3 with the assistance of a PlayStation Eye camera.
PlayStation is actually streamlined than a Wii Remote as it has fewer buttons. While on Wii Remote you could get confused to find home button B trigger, d-pad, plus, A, minus along with 1 and 2 buttons. Moreover, the Wii remote consumes more AA batteries while PlayStation can be easily recharged through mini USB connection.
PlayStation Move has smarter controller while Wii controller look terrible. Lastly, PlayStation move is wireless while Wii needs a cable.
