This question is one that is very subjective but I am definitely more than happy to provide you with my opinion on the matter. Cataclysm is definitely a work in progress in my opinion. Blizzard has made a few things too difficult to do anymore and that's something that a more seasoned player is going to experience right away. However, what is definitely fun for new and old players are the new classes. There has never been a set of classes introduced the way the worgens and goblins have been in World of Warcraft. They have extremely unique zones and sets of quests and the progress is filled with amazing cinematics that add to the game play and make starting up extremely fun. Not only this but the classes are interesting and fun to play with some great stories with them.
