ASUS is going to be launching two kinds of Asus Eee tablets. One of the tablets will be running on Android and the second will be based on Windows 7. The Android tablet will be released later and ASUS is releasing the Windows 7 device, first. ASUS wants to see the reaction of the public. Public responses may lean towards the negative, as with all of the current Windows 7 tablets. The iPad’s system and Android’s open source runs much more smoothly. The touchscreen is not as easy to use, either. It is probable that Asus decided on this Windows 7 tactic to keep a good relationship with Microsoft. This may or may not be true of this scenario. Perhaps they will have better luck with the Android one.
