How does one use a VISA Gift Card in conjunction with a credit card on Amazon?
My cousin received a visa gift card and since she wants to start shopping online, especially on Amazon. She plans to use the visa card to buy some item on the site. She wants to use the card in conjunction with her credit card, just in case the item she wants to buy cost much more than the visa gift card is worth. She have ‘’googled’’ for an answer, but couldn’t find any relating to the issue. Does anyone have an idea of how she can go about this? Thanks

If you have a VISA gift card and want to use it on Amazon.com in conjunction with a credit card (to pay for any amount over the gift card value), the solution is to use the VISA gift card to purchase an Amazon gift card of the same value for yourself (search for “gift card” on Amazon.com).
Once you have the Amazon gift card, you can then use it to pay for part of your order, with the remaining balance being charged to another credit card.
