How does Macys compare to Saks in clothing brands?

If you want to compare Macys and Saks Fifth Avenue brands, the best thing to do is to visit both companys' websites and have a look. Macy's is the lower cost option of the two, with Saks being more on par with Neiman Marcus.
I've found that Macy's has some great stuff for women (lots of Michael Kors, for example), but I find their men's selection lacking. That said, there are exceptions. For example, I was once in a Macy's that had a full Thomas Pink section (very expensive shirts)!
My girlfriend finds lots of great stuff at Macy's. I usually visit the Thomas Pink section and then leave the store to go to Saks. Besides, Saks has most of the great men's brands including Zegna, Prada, Kiton and others.
