M$Every baby is different of course, but by using Dr. Brown's bottles, I was able to switch between formulas easily and not worry about excess gas. I would even see extra bubbles in the bottle from the formula and watch those bubbles disappear as it went through the tube.
There is an extra step with cleaning, so if that is a major concern, then you Dr. Browns may not be for you, but overall, my children both thrived from using Dr. Browns.

Designed by a doctor in 1996 and patented in 1997, the Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow baby bottle was the first baby bottle to feature an internal vent system that eliminated the vacuum, air bubbles and negative pressure associated with conventional bottle feeding. This unique design gave moms the only fully vented bottle option that replaced the vacuum commonly found in other bottles with positive-pressure, or Natural Flow, that actually mimics breastfeeding.

Parents also report that these bottles are especially helpful with gassy children or colicky babies because they reduce the amount of air babies take in when nursing.

Interesting to me that three completely different sites were used to rate different bottles. I'm thinking a more accurate comparisson would be made by taking the ratings from the same sites. How did the BornFree bottles rate on the ebay.com, csnbaby.com and ecost.com sites? Did the Dr. Brown's bottle perform better or worse on thier diapers.com, amazon.com and drugstore.com ratings?
