Deron Williams is quite different from John Stockton. John stockton was a pure passer who was also deadly from the outside and who was very good at steals. He was kind of skinny and was not a very physical player. Stockton rarely drove to the lane for layups or took people off the dribble. Deron, on the other hand, is a strong point guard, he is 6'4 and is very bulky, he is very good off the dribbles and he is a great pass n' dish guy. He is a decent shooter and defender but is not nearly as good as John stockton was, Both of them have a good big guy inside to dish it to. deron has Carlos Boozer and Stockton had the famous Carl Malone. Deron is no doubt a very talented player but he has some ways to go before he reaches John Stockton's level.

ALSO I just want to mention that Deron went to my school University of Illinois and I've always been a big fan of him ever since his glorious Illini days. Illini Forever!!!!!!

Do you think that Stock to Malone was a key pattern for Sloan style of offense?

Do you think that Williams should focus more on assists?

That is cool about Williams attending University of Illinois? What was their record?
