Many game reviewers have had great reviews for Civilization Revolution on the iPad. On recent Civilization games, especially before Civilization 4, the graphics on the game have not been the most impressive. This definitely improved over Civilization 4 and 5.
Civilization Revolution on the iPad is equally impressive. However, the graphics is not the same as the desktop games. On the desktop versions, you will get a more realistic gameplay. The graphics on the iPad game are a lot more cartoonish, though it is unsure if this is deliberate.
The gameplay on the iPad is similar to the desktop, although more streamlined. You are given a city to start with, together with advisors to help you build them. Like the game, you can also explore other cities and battle your neighbors for land.
Apart from the cartoonish graphics, the sheer amount of real estate on the iPad’s screen still looks for impressive gameplay.
