How does Chrome compare against Internet Explorer or Firefox?

Tip for best answer: M$1.14
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Based on Java Component Scores, the Google Chrome comes out on top compared to other browsers. With regards to Java Script speed Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are "virtually tied."

But in terms of Web Browser Security, NSS Labs reported that "Internet Explorer 8 (RC1) is the safest one with a 69% catch rate against Malware."

Overall, I would choose Internet Explorer 8, due to security reasons.

Firefox > Chrome > IE

It has a pretty layout. I don't like how the layout translates into functionality, though. Maybe I'm showing signs of neo-luddism, but I like my tabbed browsing within a window rather than dominating the window. Unlike IE, I'm sure that I could come to like it better if I used it more.

I used Chrome when a trojan infected the Google search for both IE and Explorer
So from my experience Chrome is safer
But it is pretty simple, I don't know what you can do with it more than Google search
. I don't have much experience with it though

I hae used all 3.

I use google chrome because it is very fast, it is not quite as safe as IE or as good looking as firefox but it is a lot of fun to use.

One bad thing for google chrome for real browsing is that it is not compatibility with Java is fully supported. But otherwise it's lightning fast and almost trouble-free

I'm using Google Chrome now, for me it's the easiest to use.

However, it isn't compatible with pdf files. (And a lot of people seem to have trouble with this)
