How does being colorblind impair one from being able to distinguish between, as well as accurately identify colors?
My understanding of colorblindness is that when you are colorblind, you see a different color that what other people see. So, wouldn't someone who is colorblind learn that what color they see is, for example, red and not green. Wouldn't they just realize that how they saw color differently and just compensate for that when they were trying to figure out the color of something?
