Hold a caucus, select a party name, and elect temporary officers.
File notice of intent to qualify with the Secretary of State, listing the names and addresses of the temporary officers.
For the year 2008 , an affidavit of registration in the new political body representing 1% of the previous General election's turnout (88,991 people) must be sent to the Secretary of State by set date. these requirements will obviously need to be updated to reflect the population voting in the 2008 election, this is the most recent on the website.
Next, an amount equal to 10% of the population (889,906) voting in the previous General Election must sign a petition to the Secretary of State requesting inclusion on the ballot, which must be certified.
