How do you use folders on the iPhone 4?

who can tell me how to use folders in iPhone 4. Need to turn them on, create them and move stuff between them.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The iPhone 4 and iOS4 supports Folders and allows you to organize your homescreen and group relevant applications and items together. This is great because there is limited space across the iPhone's homescreens.

These are some steps to create and use folder on the iPhone 4.

How to create a folder:
1. Touch on the app until it starts to wiggle
2. Drag this app onto a similar application to create a themed folder
3. You can put up to 12 apps into a one iPhone folder.

To launch an app from a folder:
1. Try to know the folder that the application you want to open is located.
2. Tap gently onto that folder
3. Tap on the app you want to open inside the folder
4. As an alternative, you can use the Spotlight search function to find the application and open it from there

To rename a folder:
1. Tap on a specific folder you want to rename.
2. Select the next bar at the top of the dock that will appear
3. Type a new name to rename the folder

How to remove items from a folder
1. Tap on a Folder so that it will open
2. Tap and hold one of the items in the folder
3. Tap on the 'x' in the corner of the item
4. This item will then be deleted from the folder.

It is worth mentioning that you can do this from within iTunes as well. If you have many applications it can be faster and easier to organize your pages and folders on the computer and then sync the phone.
