How do you take apart a La-Z-Boy for easier placement in tight? quarters)?

A La-Z-Boy recliner is made in two parts, allowing the placement down a small hall or narrow door.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The back of the lazy boy comes right off by loosening the set screws that hold the back (lift up the flap at the bottom back of the chair to locate). Once they are loose you can lift the back right up and out and then move the pieces separately.
