How do you remove the security sterio system from a 1999 Cadillac STS so you can use somewhere else?
I have a 1999 Cadillac STS Seville and want to keep the sterio system but it has a security feature that requires a code from the engine or computer or something. How and what do I need to remove so I can use this it in soem other vehicle?

If you want to use this radio in another vehicle you will need to enter the security code into the radio. The code can be found in the owner's manual or from the dealer( they may not want to give you the code if they don't have a record of you owning the car).
