How do you reduce the length (in time) of a project in Windows Movie Maker?
I am creating a movie with Windows Vista Movie Maker (version 6.0). It is a series of still pictures, transitions, and text overlay on the images (captions). The movie is 4 minutes long. I want to reduce it to 3 minutes.
I realize I can edit each individual item in the time line, but there must be a better way. I tried selecting them all and dragging to shrink it but that doesn't seem to work.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It will always be as long as the video clips and music clips which are included. To make it shorter, you either have to shorten some clips or delete some clips. It can be a bit time consuming, but that's how you do it.
