How do you record and share voice memos on the iPhone 4?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$1. Launch the Voice Memos app and click on the red record bottom that is found on the left of the screen. If you want to pause the recording, just click the button again.
Note: the old-style VU meter will respond to your voice input so there's no need to shout to push the needle up since the microphone is pretty sensitive.
2. After you are done with recording your voice memo, click on the icon on the bottom right of the screen. The memo will be named automatically including the time and date of the recording. You can label it by clicking on the More icon located at the right of the memo's listing. You can either assign a default labels lie "Idea" or "Interview" or type a custom label that you want by manually typing it.
3. It is also possible to trim the memo by clicking on the memo you want to edit and then click on "Trim Memo" button. Arrange them so that only the part you want to keep is selected and click on "Trim Voice Memo".
You will find the "Share" button, this will allow you to email or MMS the voice memo.

M$I prefer to use Evernote. I record my memos in the Evernote iPhone application, the Evernote iPhone application syncs the memos up to Evernotes servers, and then I can access the memo from any Evernote client. Evernote has applications for Mac, Windows, Apple iOS Devices, Android, BlackBerry, Palm WebOS, Widnows Mobile. Additionally you can access your Evernote notebook through Evernote's website without installing any software.
